One Foot In
2014"One Foot In" shows a junction between man and nature. Although this collaboration should normally be a harmonious one, we to often see the opposite nowadays. In this sculpture a man made generic object like a soldering bush is combined with a willow branch with on top of it an egg shaped form. The base is made form soup stone. The elements are combined in such a way that the figure seems to come alive. "One foot in" makes doubt, anticipation and courage visible in a minimalistic manner.
