Balance is everything

The outset for all my designs is to achieve balance. A balanced situation creates peacefulness and from this state it's easier to create a good product. For me it's not important whether I keep up with the current trends and hypes. Still I am very aware of what happens in my environment. For me the atmosphere of an object is far more important. Whether it considers a piece of furniture or an art piece; it has to have personality and soul. I try to achieve the balance in my designs for example by combining opposite themes or materials and making them work together.
